      About visiting

Sundquist Nursery is not open to the public except on  Open Garden dates.   Visitors are invited to enjoy the gardens and shop for plants at these times. Scroll down this page for driving directions and a map.

If you have questions about one of our plants or how to grow it, please first check our label, this website, or your references, or search Google for information.  If you still have a specific question that remains unanswered, you may contact us.   We'll respond.  Sometimes  the unfortunate but necessary sequencing of commitments delays a response.

Write to us at PO Box 2451, or visit us at 3809 NE Sawdust Hill Rd.  Poulsbo, WA  98370.

Directions to Sundquist Nursery

From Seattle  take I-5 to SR 104 and the Edmonds ferry.  From Kingston (the town on the other side) proceed on SR 104 (the main drag).  At about 4 miles, where SR 104 turns right to Hood Canal, stay straight on SR 307 (Bond Rd.) toward Poulsbo.  Continue exactly 2 miles and turn left on Sawdust Hill Rd. (dirt road, dead end).  The gardens and plant sale are accessed from the driveway on the right.  Look for the "Open Garden" sign.  Park on the shoulder.  Be considerate—neighbors become very concerned (have been known to call the sheriff) if driveways or the road might be blocked.

From Bainbridge Island and Kitsap Peninsula take SR 305 to Poulsbo.  Turn toward Kingston on SR 307 (Bond Rd.).  At milepost 3, turn right on Sawdust Hill Rd. (dirt road, dead end).  Follow parking directions above.

From Olympic Peninsula  follow SR 104 across Hood Canal Bridge and through Port Gamble to the "T" intersection with SR 307 (Bond Rd.).  Turn right.  Go exactly two miles and turn left on Sawdust Hill Rd. (dirt road, dead end).  Follow parking directions above.
